News and updates
Hello hello!
First, we at Saint James would like to collectively apologize for the radio silence the past few months. What with holidays, new babies (congrats, Jesse!), and a host of other goings-0n, it’s just been crazy crazy.
But…some good news!
We’ve been hard at work on some fantastic new stuff. First, we have a new Ex Occultus one-shot called “The Black King” currently in development drawn and colored by the wonderfully talented Sean Hill (who did the artwork on the Ex Occultus: Wakefield’s Journal mini adventure “The Wicked King”, which you can read for free here).
The story pits Wakefield and Hollander against the nefarious Sir Mordred, King Arthur’s half-brother/bastard son, as he rises from the grave in search for those who pilfered his legendary sword, the Piceus Mors. Oh, and it takes place in London, with a host of undead and rival fortune hunters/explorers caught in the middle.
We’re expecting very soon to be releasing a page of the comic each week…so stay tuned for details.
Next, we have two new Ex Occultus: Wakefield’s Journal mini adventures coming. The first comes from the uber-talent David Niehaus (who drew “A Matter of Britain”), called “The Nineveh Assignment,” which follows Wakefield and Hollander to the deserts of Persia to chase down a mad explorer who holds a potentially dangerous weapon in his possession: the power of the god-king Gilgamesh!
The second, “In Wild Revolt” (by newcomer Ron Root, plus inks and colors by our very own Savannah Ervin), acts as a epilogue to the very first Ex Occultus adventure, “Badge of Langavat.” Not to be missed, I assure you.
Oh, and did we mention Chapter 3 of The Strange will be coming out soon? You haven’t seen anything yet. Read the first two chapters (for FREE), here, to catch up.
There you have it, folks. Some good stuff coming up very soon, so stay tuned, and we’ll be sure not to disappoint.
