One of the hardest parts of developing comics, surprisingly, is coming up with an iconic logo.  Seriously.  You think it’d be easy, but you have to take so much into consideration, like: Does it adequately convey the feel of the comic? Is it overly complicated and, therefore, liable to take over the cover? Do readers see it and instantly recognize it?

For Ex Occultus, especially, we’ve had a tough go at covering all these bases.  But, finally, we’ve gotten a logo (courtesy of Jeff Powell) that I think is instantly recognizable, fitting to the series and, quite frankly, is just plain badass.

Going forward, this is going to be THE Ex Occultus logo.  Get used to it.
